HubSpot’s Sales Operations team is looking for a Global Data Analyst to support our Customer Selling organization. This sales team is part of a new GTM initiative in 2019 and represents a massive growth opportunity for HubSpot and our customers.

The successful candidate will work with leaders across the business to help establish a brand-new team focused on selling to and retaining HubSpot’s 52,000 customers. You will have the opportunity to help define and execute HubSpot’s strategy for selling to customers through your deep knowledge of data structures and resulting analytical insights. The focus of this work will be providing strategic, operational, systems, and analytical support for the Customer Selling and Renewal Management teams.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Design and own Customer Selling and Renewal Management team reporting
  • Use Looker and SQL to perform deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover challenges and opportunities in selling to customers
  • Partner with customer selling leadership and company executives to develop and execute on strategic initiatives that accelerate growth and front-line employee effectiveness
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Services, Business Operations, and Finance to establish and improve business processes
  • Create and maintain a sales forecasting model for selling to HubSpot’s customer base
  • Develop creative data collection methodologies that enable insightful analysis
  • Relentlessly work to ensure data and business process quality

We are looking for people who have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of success; industry experience in sales, customer operations, or management consulting preferred
  • Experience modeling with BI applications (Looker/Tableau/Qlik etc)
  • Expert knowledge of SQL required
  • Strong business consulting, analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • The skills to develop advanced data models that produce actionable insights
  • Experience cleaning and linking complicated data sets from various sources
  • The ability to facilitate cross-organizational collaboration to drive actionable and measurable results
  • The ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Google Apps, HubSpot CRM
