The Global Account Manager manages all aspects of an Avaya strategic global account in the financial vertical. Is responsible for growing sales activities and achieving quotas by driving the sales process; identifying and pursuing new opportunities by networking with local business groups, forums and developing relationships within the account . Will lead strategic discussions with key stakeholders at the client to identify needs and implement creative solutions to business problems. Take advantage of opportunities by driving the customer planning process, leading virtual account teams in building strategies that deliver balanced growth, continued account penetration and customer satisfaction, and developing forecasts based on short and longer term growth. Builds senior Partner relationships to build a trusted advisor status, creating value and influencing Avaya's position. Serves as the customer's advocate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and protect the strategic interests of both the customer and Avaya. Serves as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders in assigned accounts and is highly influential with regard to customer behavior. Experience should include a minimum of 8 - 10 years sales experience in the high tech industry.
