The environment and geosciences division is currently looking for a project manager with experience in geotechnics for its office in Saguenay or Quebec to support the growth of the office and the team already in place.
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out large-scale geotechnical projects;
• Administrative management of projects;
• Preparation of professional service offers;
• Drafting of reports;
• Exchanges in collaboration with other departments, particularly in environment and materials control;
• Exchanges in collaboration with the other divisions of SNC-Lavalin;
• Improvement of geotechnical procedures and processes;
• Maintain the satisfaction of our customers;
• Maintaining our business networks.
Academic profile
• BAC in civil engineering, geological engineering or any other relevant field
The geotechnical project manager has:
• Master's degree in geotechnics an asset;
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field;
• Experience in conventional geotechnics (buildings, foundations, stability analysis, roads, soil liquefaction,);
• Experience in the field of private geotechnical laboratories would be an asset;
• ASP Construction card;
• Have a car and a valid driver's license;
• Verbal and written communication skills, both in French and in English;
• Knowledge of measuring devices used on site;
• Good judgment and analytical skills;
• Autonomous and organized;
• Interested in teamwork;
• Capable of providing leadership;
• Resourcefulness, curiosity and quick thinking;
• Mastery of the Office suite
