We are accepting resumes for a Geotechnical Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) with experience performing geotechnical investigations and supporting materials testing laboratories. The selected candidate will participate in an exciting and meaningful work experience related to geotechnical engineering and environmental services. The candidate will be providing leadership in our geotechnical engineering department, managing department staff and supporting geotechnical and geological engineering on various projects throughout California and Nevada. This position is a career growth opportunity that will commensurate with your leadership and project management abilities. The selected candidate will oversee, assist and/or perform field exploration, report preparation, and working with our clients for geotechnical and environmental projects. This is a replacement position for our retiring Principal Geotechnical Engineering Manager. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn about significant projects in our marketplace and develop skills that will be required to advance their career.

Allerion Consulting Group, Inc. is a Geotechnical, Environmental, and Consulting firm. We provide an array of consulting services including geotechnical, environmental, building envelopes, evaluation of construction defects and code compliance services. Our ACE Quality Control division oversees Quality Control Management services including special inspection, materials testing and specialized inspections. This division performs professional services and quality assurance/control services for new construction projects throughout Northern California. We are a Drug Free work environment. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Various geotechnical engineering duties (including project management)

· Soil mechanics and materials (includes Concrete) laboratory testing

· Structural foundations observation and earth materials verification

· Earthwork recommendations and reviewing field reports

· Professional report preparation (Geotechnical & Environmental)

· Environmental site assessments - Field and Research

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

· College graduate in Civil Engineering

· Licensed Geotechnical (GE) and/or Professional Engineer (PE) in California

· Direct experience related to geotechnical investigations and environmental site assessments

· Strong Project Management skills

· Leadership experience and proven performance

· Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history

· Capable of routinely lifting 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds

Salary

$90K - $120K
$90K - $120K base, Health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement p bonus
