Regional Transportation Services Company is looking for:

POSITION: General Site Manager ? in Training

LOCATION: Any of these locations North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Maryland, Connecticut, or Virginia

SALARY: 80-110K depending heavily on experience (increase after placement in permanent role)

DEGREE: Required

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 Years Transportation or Operations Management experience involving Drivers and DOT

RELOCATION: Relocation Assistance Available.

Critical Requirements for this role

Job Stability is a must.

Ability to relocate to small or large towns/cities along the east coast. 

Strong Desire to manage full P&L of a location and grow with the company

Experience with DOT or Transportation

Must be able to Travel to different locations for the first 6-12months.

Responsible for the productive and profitable daily operations for services in a defined territory.

Operation success factors include but are not limited to: pricing jobs, driving and providing services, directing day-to-day supervision of crew members, materials, meeting customers? expectations, managing daily routing and job assignments, maintaining DOT and preventative maintenance programs vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service:

Manage entirety of customer experience from customer acquisition to job performance to follow up; including processing all sales and customer inquiries directed to the territory, meeting with customers, pricing and scheduling jobs and performing follow up.

Ensure all team members (lead driver/crew chief, crew members) meet expectations for brand standards (i.e. appearance, uniforms) and exemplary customer interaction

Provide accurate and consistent feedback regarding best practices, recommendations for future development and effectiveness of marketing and advertising strategies.

Leadership of Team Members:

Help recruit, interview, hire, train and retain top talent.-Provide daily support including coaching and hands on/ride along training for team members.

Foster a culture aligned with core values

Administer ?real-time? performance measurement and review of team members.

Ensure daily and weekly ?readiness? meetings are organized, clearly communicated and implemented.

Operational:

Responsible for managing and maintaining all company owned assets.

Manage daily routing, assignments and schedules.

Determine and plan daily manpower needs based upon workflow.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily paperwork pertaining to the operation.

Regulatory/Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all DOT requirements including Hours of Service regulations and licensing.

Ensure compliance as they pertain to proper permits and disposal adhering to all local regulations.

Adherence to company policies (i.e. incident reports, submit to background check and drug screening, HR policies related to safety and compliance).

Financial Management:

Manage the day-to-day operation with a focus on improved efficiency and profitability.

Routine reviews of P&L statement with management.

Input and send customers sales receipts, invoices and estimates on a daily basis.
