Job Summary:
Directly responsible to ensure that all department operations are effectively managed in a profitable and professional manner. Oversees the day to day operation of the property to create and maintain maximum profitability, customer satisfaction levels, product quality, service standards, facility maintenance, workplace harmony and property safety practices in accordance with accepted company(s)standards. Responsible to actively promote the property within the world tourism market and to represent and promote the property as a caring and supportive corporate citizen in all local community activities.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Previous experience in hotel management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge and skills have been acquired can be substituted for a degree. Minimum five (5) years experience as an Executive Assistant Manager and/or other hotel operations management position which comparable job knowledge and skills have been acquired. Minimum five (5) years experience in all phases of property management, including sales and marketing in a vacation ownership/time share organization, daily management of all areas of operations involving human resources, budget management, rooms, housekeeping, resort maintenance, long-range planning and administration of services. AH&MA Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certification preferred. Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals. Able to set priorities, plans, organize, delegate and control. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with management and staff -- being persuasive, clear and to the point. Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, clear and understandable in order to formulate complex reports and communicate with the public, staff, corporate offices and owners. Ability to process basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) when analyzing various financialreports, projecting forecasts and long range planning. Ability to work on a computer keyboard and/or typewriter to process written documents and reports. Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines. Ability to travel as needed to conferences, trade shows, tenant offices and other company functions. Portray the Ke'Ano Wa'a values with all customers (owners, guests, employees, service vendors, concessions, travel partners) while performing the functions of the position.
