The NAM GL Operations Support Manager is responsible for supporting various general ledgers and reporting platforms in Citi's Reporting suite.  The position provides life cycle global operational support for various systems inclusive of Full Suite, Tampa GL, DBS and other miscellaneous platforms.  Position provides enterprise operations support for specific applications utilized in Citi's consolidated reporting.  Provide Operational support for the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual close processes utilized within these applications as well as supporting key integrations with other global reporting systems.Global oversight and responsibility include management of functions associated with NAM reporting and Operations, system performance, global operations  support,  and business reporting in multiple center locations.  Provide escalated Level 2 support and with strong partnership with various technology counterparts.  Perform project management duties related to strategic Finance initiatives for the supported applications, ensuring proper controls are applied with comprehensive SDLC support, inclusive of requirements gathering, testing and technology and financial reporting interaction.  Strong interaction with various support teams to ensure optimal system performance and delivery.  Manage the day-to-day operations support function, workflow and issues, including all close cycles, and coordinate with product processors as well as downstream reporting systems to deliver within established SLA's.  Perform management and administrative functions including team building, coaching and development.  Monitor budget and costs associated with the related expense codes.  Manage appropriate Service Delivery model ensuring a positive customer experience and platform interaction.  Support and execute to BICF, Finance and FRO strategic initiatives and provide strategic input. Superior relationship building skills are also required in order to successfully interact with senior level customers and management teams.  Other technical requirements include proficiency in system architecture, enterprise application support, data mining and troubleshooting and reporting tools.  Previous General Ledger support and Accounting information systems background and knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Requires 10+ years in System Operations, Financial Application or Corporate Financial systems experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Accounting or Business Management
  • Previous Management experiencerequired
  • Knowledge of warehousing and integrated reporting systems
  • Experience with enterprise applications, SQL, Essbase, Autosys, Inquiry Framework and Business Objects a plus
  • Excellent Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Ability to coordinate conflicting time demands and senior escalation
  • Ability to support non-standard business hours including weekends and holidays as determined by Finance needs
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Team player with strategic focus and flexibility to manage and support enterprise change
