Promote and sell Gel Permeation Chromatography Systems, Liquid Chromatographs, and similar instruments utilized in the analysis of polymers.
*** Develop and implement six-month territory plan to achieve sales quota, prioritize accounts, and clients within assigned territory.
*** Identify opportunities within assigned territory for new business. Focus efforts on accounts including manufacturing organizations, academic laboratories, polymer characterization labs, independent chemical analysis facilities, and similar.
*** Consult with current and potential clients via phone and face-to-face customer meetings. Address client inquiries within designated time frame.
*** Utilize communication tools, such as product seminars, to engage current and prospective customers.
***Report and analyze sales by account and product class.
*** Research market trends, publications, and competitor information for Gel Permeation Chromatography, triple detection, and related technologies.
*** Maintain high level of product related technical and application knowledge.
*** Conduct site visits, demonstrate products, and provide high level of customer service.
*** Update Customer Relationship Management database with customer records, call history, and purchase data for all accounts.
*** Serve as subject matter expert related to chromatography theory, Gel Permeation Chromatography, related techniques (viscometry and light-scattering), and similar.
