Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex projects to strengthen their business. As anexperienced GDPRProject Manager, you will beresponsible for providing project management expertise and organizing the activitiesrequired to ensure that compliance is met for General Data ProtectionRegulations. Working across the organization, you will lead efforts in the monitoring of compliance with the GDPR, with other EU or local data protection provisions and with other data protection policies, including the assignment ofresponsibilities, awareness raising and training of staff involved.

  • Responsibility for the overall program management, coordination, execution, control and completion of identified Program/Project deliverables
  • Support the identification of business processes and systems that relate to personal data and deemed in-scope of GDPR
  • Development of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Development of a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Management of projects from kickoff through deployment
  • Preparation of periodic project status reports and conducting review meetings with stakeholders
  • Understanding GDPR compliance standards and translating them into business and data management requirements in the form of user stories/functional specifications or business change documentation


  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Finance (advanced degree such as MBA a plus), PMP highly desired
  • 10-plus years of experience in project management / audit / compliance/ information security.
  • Consulting experience in a professional services organization
  • Data privacy experience (working globally with EU policies), CIPP or CIPT preferred
  • Ability to conceptualize Projects or Programs from start to finish to effectively manage and keep initiative on schedule while adapting to sudden changes and shifting priorities
  • Ability to complete multiple, simultaneous projects with minimal supervision and prioritize incoming work appropriately
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience at multiple levels within the company through various formats, such as presentations, written proposals, reports, correspondence, leading meetings, face-to-face dialogue etc.
