As a Game Services Programmer at Improbable, you will help us build our MMO game on the SpatialOS platform. You will understand the core concepts of SpatialOS and use this knowledge to expand on the backend capabilities of the platform. You interpret the requirements of the game to design and implement the services necessary to support the product. You will also work with the platform team to surface challenges encountered in developing new features.

- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g. producers, artists, designers)
- Ability to establish technical requirements from creative or design-led pitches
- Ability to define and understand elements of game design documents and technical design documents
- Experience breaking down the development of a system into a number of manageable tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience with implementing features for multiplayer games or online services
- Experience developing and working with databases
- Ability to leverage automation frameworks
Beneficial:
- Experience integrating features with Unreal Engine
- Proficiency programming in Go, C#, Python, and C++
- Experience working with cloud based infrastructure and tools such as Kubernetes
- Previous experience developing games for desktop or console
