Position SummaryThe Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations of the hospice agency, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hospice experience who thrives in a startup/growth environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day hospice clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and accreditation regulations
- Supervise and support nursing and interdisciplinary staff
- Coordinate patient care services and case management
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Maintain quality assurance and infection control programs
- Collaborate with executive leadership on census growth and operational goals
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
- Foster a compassionate, patient-centered culture
Qualifications- Current Arizona RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years hospice leadership experience preferred
- Prior experience as Clinical Manager, DON, or equivalent strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare hospice regulations and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and help build a growing program
- CPR certification required
