We are seeking a Full Stack (.NET) Software Developer to work on our agile development team creating and supporting custom developed, primarily web-based, applications used throughout the UW Health enterprise.
You will work in all aspects of the software development life cycle and have proficiency with:

  • Object-oriented programming and software design patterns
  • Front-end web development processes, languages, and frameworks
  • Consuming and/or developing web service APIs
  • Writing maintainable and testable code within a shared code base
  • Utilizing version control systems for source code management
  • Designing and implementing relational and/or non-relational databases tosupport application data structures
  • Server administration, networking concepts, and web hosting environments necessary to support the applications

And have:

  • A record of continued learning, with the application of new technology and techniques in software development
  • A history of supporting your team members, avoiding complexity, and adapting to changes
  • A demonstrated ability to work directly with end users to match solutions totheir business needs
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong problem solving and organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • The ability to participate as a member of the agile software development team

Minimum - Bachelor’s Degree (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of)
Preferred - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field strongly preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum - Three years relevant experience
Preferred - Five years of professional software development utilizing these technology areas:

  • C#, ASP.NET Core and/or Framework MVC
  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, UI/UX design
  • Angular, jQuery, or another front-end JavaScript framework
  • Consuming and/or developing web service APIs
  • Entity Framework or other ORM framework
  • Git or another version control system
  • Azure DevOps
  • Test Driven Development, xUnit, or another testing framework
  • Continuous integration and deployment tools and processes
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, and relational databases
  • Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Caché ObjectScript and/or MUMPS/M

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Participate an a 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
