Duties and Responsibilities:

The Law Department is seeking a full-time Full Stack .Net Developer responsible for developing and maintaining self-service web solutions to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and automation for our business partners. State Farm is looking for quality candidates that will help accelerate our ability to deliver web solutions in a quick, efficient, and quality manner.

Special Skills Needed:

Qualified candidates must have the following skills:

  • Preferred 1-3 years of professional experience in Microsoft Visual Studio suite application development
  • C#, Visual Basic, Microsoft.NET Framework
  • ASP.NET, using MVC and Web API
  • Various .NET data access technologies including Entity Framework (EF), and Language-Integrated Query (LINQ)
  • Microsoft SQL Server and SQL/Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • JavaScript (including knowledge of various Open Source JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, DataTables, Angular, SignalR)
  • JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
  • Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX)
  • Cascading style sheets (CSS)
  • Extensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Windows Operating Systems (Win7 & Win10)
  • Microsoft Office knowledge including Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel (including Macros and Visual Basic)
