The Datalayer team is part of the digital solutions delivery organization; data-driven, fast-paced culture where senior developers/engineers are empowered to innovate and take ideas from concept to scale, maintaining the attention to details required to enable continuous delivery, in an environment where you will be able to have a visible impact from day one.

The Datalayer team builds the core services and delivery pipelines. We are looking for a passionate, highly capable senior developer/engineer to join our existing integration services team. 

The candidate should be able to help us deliver the seamless, high-quality services based on Micro services architecture.

The candidate should have mastery skills in Java/J2EE application development, capable to adjust to new technologies and framework.

As a senior developer/engineer the candidate will be responsible for the design, development of REST based APIs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-10 + years of experience in Java/J2EE application development
  • Good hands-on experience with application servers – IBM Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat and similar application servers
  • Exposure to Jenkins, JMeter and SOAP UI
  • At least 2 years’ experience building applications using nodejs
  • 7 years’ experience in building SOAP/REST based services 
  • Understanding REST/JSON vocabulary, PAAS and IAAS offerings is a must.
  • 3+ years’ experience in  building API, event based services using cloud offerings such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud would be a plus.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
