Full Stack Engineer at Cue in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop internal and external web services and applications
• Collaborate with software teams and product owner throughout the research, design, review and development of products
• Contribute to feature development efforts on new and existing applications
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related degree
• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong grasp of TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with Object Oriented Design (OOD) in high level programming languages
• Experience with frontend web development (React + Redux preferred)
• Experience with NodeJS and Express
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Amazon RDS)
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with testing frameworks such as jUnit, Jest, Mockito, jasmine
• Experience with ORM/ODMs for MongoDB such as Mongoose
• Ability to deliver well designed, maintainable, and efficient code
• Be open to some DevOps work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience integrating with third party APIs
• Preference for a fast-paced, high-performance work environment
• Honest, friendly attitude, and a good sense of humor

Nice to have:

• Experience with Play! or Spring Java frameworks
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with localization/internationalization of web sites
• Experience with Tomcat, NGINX
• Experience with software security concepts
