DescriptionThe Full Stack Senior .Net Software Engineer is a second-tier programming position for Courts & Justice development team. This position focuses on developing Tyler software products, maintaining existing Tyler applications, and developing code for new applications according to technical specifications and system designs. Work with our integrated solutions that help courts and public safety organizations of all sizes better protect and serve the public. By helping provide solutions that improve efficiency and response time, you can help serve our citizens and make communities safer.
NOTE: This is a hybrid role which requires the candidate to be in the Plano, TX office at least 2 days per weekResponsibilities- Participates in analyzing, designing, writing, and testing code.
- Contribute to the design of features and provide thought leadership by taking into consideration business requirements, data needs, performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Optimize the application for maximum performance and scalability.
- Drive technical excellence into every aspect of the software development and delivery lifecycle.
- Continually learn and take initiative to stay current with industry trends and front-end technology.
- Be outcome focused and work collaboratively with the team to continually drive strong results.
- Reviews business requirements documentation with business analysts and QA.
- Partners and interacts with external clients to resolve software issues on a regular basis.
- Provides technical backing to the support team to troubleshoot end-user problems.
- Performs other job-related duties as needed.
- Streamline deployments for continuous delivery through standard DevSecOps practices
- Encourage improved agility and velocity through Scrum practices
QualificationsRequired
- BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and understanding of relevant technologies.
- .Net / C# (or similar high-level language)
- SQL Server
- Excellent interpersonal skills: verbal & written communication, teamwork, and customer service.
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
- Passionate about technology projects and problem solving; prefers a variety of work over repetitive work.
- Demonstrated ability to write and test code within deadlines and budgets.
- May be required to pass a fingerprint background check (for CJIS requirements).
