What You Will Do
Develop and maintain technical components, services, and integrations that enhance engineering workflow applications.
Build foundational modules, reusable logic, and frameworks that enable scalable application development for Engineering and Operations teams.
Implement end0to0end solutions that support internal engineering and operational processes.
Collaborate closely with internal customers to translate functional requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
Partner with development teams and stakeholders to define platform standards, architecture patterns, and best practices for both pro0code and low0code contributors.
Use high0level programming languages (primarily Python) to build scalable enterprise applications.
Architect and deploy solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Qualifications You Must Have
University degree with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.

- Experience with finite element modeling (FEA) software or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong understanding of modern application architecture, especially serverless patterns.
AWS certification.
Experience with Agile software development.
Ability to work effectively both independently and on team0based initiatives.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non0technical stakeholders.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate0s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
