Role and Responsibilities:

We're building out our technology team. We’re looking for an experienced full-stack JS developer interested in contributing to growing and scaling a successful startup - where you will have a real impact on the business and technology. You will work with our engineering, product management, marketing, and design teams to help deliver a great user experience across all aspects of KiwiCo's digital presence. Working with a small team using agile development process, you will be bringing products to life and help build new features across all areas of our product. You will develop high performance, highly responsive, intuitive, and sleek experiences that will delight our customers. You can expect to participate in all aspects of the product life-cycle.

Required Qualifications

You must have a strong desire to learn and improve.

3+ years of web/software experience development complex modern web applications
2+ years of experience with React.js, knowledge designing, developing, and utilizing component-based architectures.
2+ years of experience with Node.js
Ability to implement rich client functionality with thorough knowledge of JavaScript, including frameworks (jQuery/ ES6+) and AJAX
Driven, flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Ability to deliver engineering tasks on time and with high quality
Passionate about working with new technologies and solving difficult technical problems
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or other relevant field of study

Desired Qualifications

Proficient at CSS, and cross-browser cross-device layout skills and knowledge
Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns
Knowledge of PHP/object oriented programming, or other backend technologies
eCommerce experience
Startup experience
