You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. What You Need:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, or abilities listed below:

  • 6+ years of experience with software development
  • 2+ years of experience with leading technical delivery
  • Experience with front-end user interface development, including translating requirements into code and implementing mockups
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, including cross-browser compatibility, responsive Web design, CSS preprocessors, such as Sass or LESS, and frameworks or libraries, such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or the US Web Design Standards
  • Experience with back end Web languages, including Python, Node, PHP, or Ruby
  • Experience with version control systems, including git
  • Experience with testing cross-browser, cross-platform, or cross-device compatibility
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, including the use of frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Must live in Charleston, SC, or be willing to relocate
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in CS

What Would Be Nice:

  • Experience with mobile application development
  • Experience with Cloud computing services, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, or performance management
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills
