In a nutshell:

IDEO San Francisco is in search of a Recruiting Specialist to be part of our dynamic and creative Talent team. You will be responsible for day-to-day full-life cycle recruiting activities from sourcing, to candidate management, to interviewing, and offer negotiation.

The ideal candidate has a high level of discretion, is a creative problem solver, and eager to learn and grow in the Talent space. This person will represent IDEO in a spirited and professional manner, both internally and externally. Flexibility, curiosity, and multitasking are key, given the dynamic nature of the role and the studio.

Once here you will:

  • Proactively connect with candidates in a way that builds relationships, trust, and credibility
  • Partner with IDEO content leaders and hiring managers to execute on the San Francisco hiring plan and strategy
  • Drive the recruiting process forward by problem-solving obstacles or challenges that arise, knowing when and how to involve others as necessary
  • Facilitate and drive consensus among multiple stakeholders to bring hiring issues to a successful conclusion
  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, coordination of resume flow, diligent candidate correspondence, and maintenance of candidate records via our applicant tracking system
  • Support candidates as they become employees by ensuring a successful start at IDEO

Relevant experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, dynamic recruiting role
  • Good discretion­ – demonstrates sound judgment in dealing with confidential dialogues and information
  • Strong facilitation skills to enable fruitful discussions among colleagues
  • Ability to collaborate with different people
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and has a natural focus on making things happen
  • Works well with a variety of working styles and personalities
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches and projects
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
