The Role

We are currently seeking a Fraud Strategy Manager, Credit Card for our Fraud Strategy team in Wilmington, DE. This role will have the exciting opportunity to assist with the architecture and delivery of a new credit card fraud detection solution. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing fraud trends, developing and managing fraud strategies and treatment for a new card product.

Working with various partners, the role will also have responsibilities of reporting, strategy implementation, strategy validation and ad-hoc analyses for both application and transactional fraud.

A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of fraud detection. In addition, this candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to partner with the leadership team and develop solutions that are executable and meaningful in practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fraud prevention originations, authorizations and payment strategies that balance loss prevention, sales growth and customer experience.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure fraud strategies are implemented accurately and on-time.
• Prepare and present monthly fraud performance reporting to management and business partners.
• Prepare and present analytics results to business partners and management.
• Collaborate with Operational partners to communicate awareness of fraud trends and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 4-6 years’ experience in quantitative (credit card or personal loans) risk analytics; Preferably at a Financial Institution.
• Advanced programming skills and knowledge in analytics and statistic tools (e.g. SAS, R, Python, SQL)
• Experience analyzing credit card data and writing fraud authorization, originations, and payment rules. Experience with Falcon, TSYS, and other authorization systems preferred.
• Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems.
