This position provides an excellent learning opportunity to gain knowledge of the entire Otis business by providing financial planning and analysis to WHQ Finance senior management. Working as an integral part of the WHQ FP&A team, the candidate will participate in the global planning, actuals and forecasting processes. Additionally, the group takes a lead role in preparing material for periodic Operating Management Meetings (OMM), UTC and Otis Finance Council, Trimester, etc. which the candidate will support.

Key Job Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Major Investments process, including performance analysis, direct coordination with the business units and presentation support with senior management.
  • Lead the restructuring process from proposal to CRAR approval, monthly forecasting, savings analysis, etc.
  • Perform Investor Relations activities including Analyst coverage, Peer Comparison analysis, and Earnings Releasesupport.
  • Support Tax Valuation with E&Y, Controllers and Otis Tax.
  • Support executive leadership meetings (Quarterly Disclosure meetings, Presidents Council, OMM, etc).


Qualification:

  • Minimum 5 years in Accounting or Finance
  • strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • strong work ethics
  • proficiency in Power Point and Excel is critical
  • knowledge of HFM


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired, MBA a plus
  • BA/BA in Finance or Accounting
