About the RoleYou'll be one of the first two founding engineers setting the technical culture for a fast-growing team. The company has seen rapid growth and just closed funding to scale. You'll work across the entire technical stack with significant ownership and autonomy.
What You'll Do- Own problems end-to-end across multiple technical domains: LLM orchestration, conversation flow, tool integration, voice, UI, and infrastructure
- Debug production issues in real-time-from conversation logs to deployment regressions-and ship fixes quickly
- Design and prototype new features with minimal specification, from generative UI to agent versioning systems
- Build and maintain the core technical pillars: agent orchestration, embeddable adaptive UI, customer-facing platform, evaluation pipelines, and zero-cold-start infrastructure
- Write and iterate on evals that measure system quality and feed improvements back into the product
- Handle the full spectrum of early-stage work: frontend bugs, database migrations, customer debugging, and infrastructure design
What We're Looking For- Proven track record shipping systems that real users depend on. You can speak to what actually broke in production and how you fixed it
- Strong engineering judgment about what's ready to ship versus what needs more work. You move fast without creating hidden technical debt
- Hands-on experience making LLM systems work at scale. You understand the gap between demo and production, and you know how to close it through design and iteration
- Comfortable working across the stack-not for the title, but because the hardest problems don't fit into one layer
- Ability to take ownership without waiting for direction. If something is broken or unclear, you fix it
- Pragmatic about technology choices. You pick tools based on the problem, not preference
