Support continued development of industrialcleaners and sanitizers by designing and conducting product experiments to improve existing formulas and develop new product technologies.
*** Interact with raw material vendors and other industry representatives to identify new raw materials and application methodologies and bring them in house.
*** Develop new formulations, products, or technologies using emulsion and surfactant technology for all types of industrialcleaners and sanitizers used in the food industry such as teat dips, laundry products, foot bath products, general cleaners, hay preservatives, peroxygens, peracetic acid, etc.
*** Coordinate plant, microbiological, and safety testing.
*** Design, develop, and conduct laboratory efficacy, field, and claims testing and write reports detailing experiments, analysis, and summary of results.
*** Conduct ongoing stability testing including tracking stability, updating results charts, summarizing data for review at each test period, recommending changes and improvements when stability or efficacy testing fails, and presenting data to be used in new domestic and international drug submissions, EPA applications, etc.
*** Participate in pilot and first production batches and write detailed descriptions of batching procedures to ensure batch reproducibility.
*** Assist resolution of formulation and manufacturing issues for new and existing products.
