Job Description and Requirements
Product application engineer (AE) is expected to support, guide, and provide technical expertise for formal equivalence checking tool.
Provide in-depth specification and guidance for product developments.
Help to define, test, and drive adoption of product features.
Deliver feature update training and deploy new product features.
Highly motivated with strong analysis and debug capabilities for technical issues.
Develop product documentation and training materials.
May require occasional travel to customer sites and interaction with customers including giving presentations.
Must be able to work independently, and also in collaboration with other team members, to resolve customer issues and support technology adoption.
Influence product definition and direction of R&D by providing feedback regarding customer challenges and tool experiences.
MSEE (or equivalent) required with 5+ years of experience, or BSEE (or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience.
Experience with ASIC design flow and should include equivalence checking, RTL design, and logic synthesis.
Experience of Hardware Design Languages including Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL.
Experience with Unix/Linux operating environments.
Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are mandatory.
TCL, Perl, and any other scripting languages highly desirable.
Must have a great team spirit.
