The successful candidate will be responsible for direct hands-on work of a crew to produce units of construction, which are assigned on a project by a superintendent or project manager. A HEC Foreman should be capable, among other responsibilities, with the installation of concrete, process pipe & mechanical equipment installation. The selected individual will ensure crew operates within HRI’s safety standards at all times. They will plan and assign work, track and account for labor hours and productivity, supervise activities of a construction a crew.
Supervise work activities of construction crew members in their day to day activities
Familiarity with pipe and mechanical equipment installation
Ensure compliance with the Company’s Safety Policies and Procedures
Ensure crews have tools, materials, and instruction to complete tasks
Preplan schedule, manpower, and equipment needs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with the Project Management Team
Coordinate material and labor needs with Project Superintendent
Report quantities to management staff
Understand and meet production rates to meet schedule and budget requirements
Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the construction industry
Proven track record working safely
Layout ability with the use of auto levels, lasers, and other survey equipment
Ability to calculate quantities for materials and supplies
Ability to effectively supervise small to midsized groups
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans and specifications
Effective communication and organizational skills
Ability to travel
Effective communication skills (both listening and verbal)
Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude
