Currently seeking an experienced Engineer to provide technical engineering support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Development.
Essential Job Functions:
Reviews LORs, attends pre-LOA meetings/discussions to answer technical questions
Provides technical documentation and/or source data as authorized by the RIS
Attends and provides technical expertise at case Program Management meetings, responds to data calls from country program manager or technical counterparts and provides on-call technical assistance for operation or troubleshooting when an FMS system is fielded
Provides Integration support, reviews system requirements, reviews system and subsystem specifications, reviews interface development documentation, develops test plans and attend DT/OT events
Provides technical training support for ARC-210 Radio Operations in all authorized modes, System maintenance, Mission Planning, and COMSEC key loading
Provides specialized COMSEC training for country unique encryption devices
Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science or one of the following Engineering Disciplines: Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer is required.
At least 8 years of experience in an engineering position is required.
At least 3 years of experience in an Engineering/Science Field is required.
Active Secret security clearance.
NAVAIR and FMS experience is preferred.
