Leopold & Associates is seeking an Attorney to join our team at our Midtown, NY Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities for growth and advancement.

The Foreclosure Litigation Attorney will represent secured creditors, banks and mortgage servicers in residential foreclosure litigation. Successful candidates must have NY Bar Admission and previous foreclosure OR litigation experience.


  • Interpreting laws, legislation or regulations, analyzing data, legal questions, and existing evidence or facts
  • Appear in court on inquests, conferences, hearings, and motions
  • Case management
  • Engage in extensive research
  • Draft various motions and written responses, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss complaints, and orders to show cause
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Reviewing and addressing court and attorney correspondence

Education & Experience:

  • NY Bar Admission
  • Experience in NY civil practice
  • Complete knowledge of NY motion practice
  • Ability to manage workloads and projects
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel
  • Professional written and communication skills
  • Strong word processing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work meticulously to ensure the quality of your product
  • Must have excellent phone manner and written and oral communication skills
  • Work well under pressure
