We are a national food manufacturing company with almost a 50 year history. We are the leader in our space in both Retail branded food products as well as our leading Foodservice products.

We currently seek at Foodservice Sales Director (management position leading sales reps) in the Midwest - position will report to the VP of US Sales.

Candidates must meet the following 2 requirements:

1. Sales Management - managing a direct selling force in Foodservice

2. Foodservice background with applicable management experience

This position contributes to the success of our Foodservice divisionby leading a team of Foodservice Sales Professionals for a specific geography. This person oversees the overall development of the Foodservice business growth for the area.

The job:

* Develop and deliver Midwest Region Brokers, Distributors and National Accounts - like Sysco, US Foods, Greco, Performance etc.

* Provide strong thought leadership to prioritize opportunities, set sales strategy & vision, and lead a team

* Achieve Foodservice sales volume, revenue, profitability and KPI goals for the region

* Develop & activate local marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.

* Provide leadership to a team of Food Service professionals

* Strong effective verbal & written communication skills

* Drive to succeed in a very competitive and complex marketplace

* Results oriented and strong personal initiative and accountability

* Excellent interpersonal and organization /time management skills

Requirements:

*Bachelor?s Degree

* Previous Foodservice experience

* Previous Sales leadership in Foodservice

* Willingness to travel up to 40%
