General Mills is seeking a Foodservice Account Executive in Northern California to:

  • Be responsible for developing sales through the introduction and execution of sales plans and programs for specific distributor and operator accounts
  • Support sales and marketing strategies as defined by the Zone Manager and Region Manager
  • Work closely with the local region sales team to ensure product and account penetration in order to achieve the Foodservice Distributor segment sales program

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver assigned volume program for territory that will enable the region to deliver its program
  • Responsible for managing key distributors including US Foods and operator accounts as assigned within the covered geographies
  • Develop strong relationships through regular calls with key distributor personnel and major operator customers in the market
  • Responsible for developing and executing distributor marketing programs (or equivalent distributor programs) and operator program

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of Foodservice sales or equivalent business-to-business sales experience required
  • Experience in management of foodservice distributors and/or distributor headquarters a plus
  • Ability to work in a home office environment and travel 40%
