Key Responsibilities / Functions:

Responsible for resolving customer tickets within TL9000 timeframes

Interface directly with Alcatel-Lucent’s customers to effectively trouble shoot and investigate field problems

Act as the customer facing liaison for the product unit development team



Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

BS in electrical/software/computer engineering

Excellent verbal and oral communication skills

Leadership and crisis management skills

Experience in Ethernet based network operations

Working Knowledge of ALU GPON 7342 / 7360

Working knowledge of Network Protocols

Working knowledge of high speed access network services


Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

Knowledge in the following protocols: SIP, MEGACO, DHCP, ARP, IP,TCP/UDP

Experience using Ethernet snooping tools (Wireshark)

Experience using Ethernet and voice test equipment (Spirent, Agilent, and Ixia)

Experience using development level trace and debug interfaces

Working experience with IPTV, SIP services

7x50 working knowledge

Previous support experience

PERL programming experience
