We are currently seeking a communicative and collaborative Fixed Asset Manager to join the team. This individual will be responsible for the various aspects of fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting processes.

What You’ll Do as the Fixed Asset Manager:

  • Oversee and manage accounting aspects related to fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting
  • Maintain current policies to ensure relevant internal controls over financial reporting are SOX compliant
  • Identify efficiencies to streamline fixed asset, inventory, and costing processes and procedures
  • Manage physical inventory process
  • Manage reporting related to fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting (including monthly reporting on capital expenditures)
  • Prepare journal entries related to fixed asset, inventory, and cost accounting
  • Manage and coach team members
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need to be a Successful Fixed Asset Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of cost accounting or fixed asset accounting
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite, Excel and Access
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication: verbal and written
  • 2+ years of supervisory experiencepreferred
  • Experience in SAP or other ERP system preferred
