  • Manage the integration of key client relationships in the firm. Work closely with firm and practice group leadership to identify opportunities and create cross selling plans that will lead to the integration of key shared and top clients.
  • Conduct client feedback sessions.  Work closely with firm management to identify regular client feedback meetings with the firm’s top strategic relationships.
  • Provide client feedback briefings to Relationship Partners, Firm and Practice Group Leadership and recommend follow up as appropriate.
  • Direct the Client Teams program including:
  •   -Analysis of client spend and practice area utilization.
  •   -Identification of strategic relationships that would benefit from a client team.
  •   -Work with relationship partners to identify team members and launch an integrated team.        
  •   -Develop client service plans including cross selling opportunities identified by the team.        
  •   -Oversee implementation and report on success.
  •   -Creation of exclusive programming and events for key clients.
  • Develop business development strategies with relationship partners to maximize key preferred provider relationships.    
  • Develop and advise on strategies for RFPs, pitches and other BD opportunities for institutional client relationships.
  • Participate in industry teams as appropriate where key client interests are involved. Development and implementation of client service standards and best practices across combined organization.
  • Develop and work with colleagues to deliver client service, business development and marketing training programs for attorneys across the Firm.
  • Lead client-facing strategic research projects as appropriate.


  • Four-year college degree required.  Master’s or JD degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of client relationship management, business development and client service training in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Ability to empower and lead a team to meet the business needs of the Firm.
  • Demonstrated people management skills providing direction, change leadership, monitoring performance, motivating staff and building a positive working environment.
  • Ability to interact with Firm Management, key relationship partners, chiefs, directors and office administrators.
  • Strong skills in MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to change direction where required and showing flexibility to meet new demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and to prioritize and manage time appropriately.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
