Job Description

Join the exciting world of Intel Software and Services Group (SSG) - One BIOS Firmware Engineering team! This team develops and delivers BIOS and firmware code to run in Intel's latest generation client and server platforms. In this role, you will be an integral part of the continuous Integration Build and Test Automation- part of the team, that is responsible for daily, weekly Firmware release deliverables.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Standardizing the usage of automation tools across various parts of the organization.
  • Interfacing with Firmware Development Engineering team to drive a consistent set of requirements about various Development tools.
  • Working with senior engineers to drive efficiency and robustness metrics in the overall Firmware Continuous Integration Process.
  • Coding new test content and resolving technical issues in the existing build and test automation tools.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plusfactor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline with 4 years MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience in:
  • Programming experience in C/C++Object oriented programming
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture
  • Linux and Windows environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming experience in Python Scripting
  • User or administrative level knowledge of SCM Source Code Management tools like Perforce, GIT, Gerrit, Team City, etc
