As a Project Manager at Clarity Insights you would be responsible for exceeding client expectations through superior implementation, delivery and management of technology products and solutions. Our PM's are accountable for managing a number of projects concurrently, building best project management practices and managing to a targeted utilization goal.



Role Highlights

  • Exercise organizational, leadership, and client management skills towards the delivery of medium and large BI implementations
  • Define standards and methodologies which are consistent and reusable across implementations
  • Formulate project statement of work, Implement strong project management practices (estimating, planning, time management, cost management, issue management, risk management, change request management, and decision tracking) and contribute to standard client implementation methodologies and management best practices
  • Define, manage, and communicate project budgets and staffing plans with both Clarity and the client stakeholders
  • Manage all project communications with a particular focus on executive stakeholder communication
  • Actively participate in all requirements gathering and solution design sessions
  • Manage the full life cycle of a client engagement from proposal through final deliverable and customer sign-off
  • Manage overall client expectations, project scope and profitability for the projects/clients you are assigned
  • Deliver high client satisfaction and follow on business in the projects you are assigned
  • Ultimately accountable for both quality of delivery and overall project success
  • Contribute to the ongoing support and development of the project management competency
  • Assist sales team during opportunity assessment and proposal phases of the service delivery process, particularly as it relates to deployment approach, timeline and deliverables

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Proffessional Services within the Financial Services industry
  • Bachelors Degree and 6+ years work experience
  • Experience with modern services deployment methodologies, with strong emphasis on installation, configuration, and integration of complex software solutions into IT infrastructure, custom software development, software and hardware architecture, and infrastructure design and development
  • Hands-on technical experience in business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing or a related discipline
  • Experience having led project teams consisting of between 10-25 resources
  • Experience having managed teams made up of a mix of consultant FTE, contractor, client resources across multiple work locations (onsite, offsite, offshore)
  • Experience in accurately estimating IT delivery projects and incorporating estimates into a detailed work plan
  • Use of formal project management tools (e.g., MS-Project, Planview, CA Clarity, AT Task, Daptiv, EPM Live, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills regarding technical and project management issues
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands
  • Experience facilitating meetings with executive level management
  • Experience in managing all levels of Waterfall Methodology
  • Experience in use of Agile Methodology not required but is preferred
  • Travel to the client on a weekly basis is required. Normal weekly schedule is M-TH travel to client location (U.S. based)

  • Excellent client communication, written and verbal skills
  • Team leadership skills with integrated client/consultant/partner teams
  • Able to scope, write SOWs, manage client expectations, and deliver on SOW commitments
