Manage a team of Sr. FP&A Analysts and associated workflows, accuracy, and quality of excellent data, analysis, and presentations
Organize, systematize and coordinate data that you distill into insightful information for the purpose of improving our business
Liaison between Business Units/Central FP&A Leadership/C-Suite Presentations
Essential FunctionsPrepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial data reports
Prepare budgets and forecasts with variance analysis
Analyze staffing and assist with variances to budget and forecasts
Analyze client gross margins and assist with variance analysis to budget and forecasts
Track operating expenses and assist with variances to budget and forecasts
Ensure that all financial data is prepared accurately and distributed appropriately
Interact with other departments related to financial reporting
Knowledge and Critical Skills/ExpertiseBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required;
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and Pivot Tables required); an on-site Excel test will be part of the interview process
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Understand project accounting and service industry (timesheets and SOWs)
Ability to meet deadlines by managing time and priorities
Professional communication manner and ability to triage messages when appropriate
Maintain security of confidential information/conversations that impact the business
Experience4 to 5+ years’ FP&A, finance operations and/or general accounting experience
Experience working with Business Services, Advertising, Media, Technology Services or Public Relations firm a plus
Experience with systems and planning tools
