Job Description

DCS Corporation is seeking a mid to senior level financial analyst to join our successful team of professions supporting a NAVAIR Program Office at Patuxent River, Maryland.

Essential Job Functions:

Track various appropriations budget allocations, obligations, and expenditures via Navy-ERP for active and expired funding in support of the Program Office.

Execute funding by generating ZFD/PR in Navy-ERP and Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT).

Assist Integrated Product Teams (IPTs); with troubleshooting and resolving CSPT issues.

Analyze program requirements, status, budget and schedules.

Perform program management, technical, or business case analyses.

Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs and track program/project status and schedules.

Apply policies and procedures for financial planning.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma or GED plus 13 years of experience, an Associates Degree plus 7 years or a Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience is required.

Must have an active Secret security clearance.

A minimum of (4) years of experience in program management, and experience with Navy-ERP (all funding appropriations) and the Common Spend Plan Tool.

A knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation as specified in the DoD 5000 series for life-cycle management of military acquisition programs, is preferred.

Experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs, is preferred.

Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of: financial/business theory and principles; management; operations; statutory or regulatory provisions and related basic economic, accounting and legal principle.
