IT Consultant/Financial Analyst for HP BIO Membership PMO


Client is investing in new capabilities to support the Health Plan. These capabilities are supported by large complex multi-year IT projects. We are seeking a IT Consultant with financial analysis expertise to support the Project Management Office (PMO) on these IT projects. The incumbent must have experience in the following activities:

?Support the budgeting and forecasting processes including tracking project cost estimates, processing invoices, submitting accruals and reconciling to month end GL.

?Support various types of reporting by collecting, organizing and analyzing data from a variety of sources including mainframe files, data warehouse reports, ad hoc data sources and vendor extracts. Reporting ranges from weekly/monthly status reports to supply/demand labor analysis to monthly financials. 

?Support developing repeatable processes to improve the program''s efficiency. 


Bachelor''s degree in a related field.

Advanced understanding of project accounting

A minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible roles that involve analyzing, modeling, reporting and forecastingfinancial data for senior leadership

Designs and implements report modifications and improvements. Imports and exports data and graphics files from multiple databases or data warehouses to develop complex financial and management reports, tables and charts

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

Proficient knowledge of SharePoint (or equivalent) and PowerPoint.


Previous Healthcare industry experience

Experience with large data sets (e.g., MS Access, SQL Server)

Project management experience

Advanced understanding of financialreporting
