Position Description:

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the month-end close process ensuring completeness,

accuracy and timeliness of data, including cross validation with different

sources of information (i.e. BPC with local ledgers such as Oracle);

  • Supports the sites in reporting/loading financial and non-financial

information (i.e. helping business units reportfinancial and on financial data

into BPC)

  • Identify, analyze, validate and report fluctuations and variances of

financial and non-financial information;

  • Participate in the consolidation process including validation of key

accounts (e.g. CTA, Equity accounts, Retained Earnings rolls, Backlog,

Intercompany Eliminations, Unconsolidated Eliminations);

  • Prepare and review key account reconciliations, including roll

forwards

  • Produces division analytics for internal and external (auditors)

customers;

  • Maintain the control environment to ensure compliance with SOX

requirements, including but not limited to:

  • maintaining close check logs;

  • obtaining supporting documentation;

  • reviewing or obtaining (depending on the case) approval to

transactions and activities;

  • Helps to ensure compliance with current accounting practices,

corporate policies and procedures and regulatory requirements;

activities;

  • Shift focus from mechanics to analysis, resulting in enhanced

analytics;

Position Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  • Accountingdegree, CPApreferred

  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a public company, including

reporting, consolidation and analysis of intercompany eliminations with

multiple international locations

  • Prefer experience in manufacturing, industrial or automotive industry

  • Experienced with SAP, or Oracle, including looking for and extracting

data

  • Experience with SAP-BPC or Hyperion, creating reports

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proactive

  • Detail Oriented

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
