Summary:

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position reports to the Manager, FP&A.

This role is based out of our Vancouver office.

What your team does:

Our Financial Planning & Analysis team is focused on driving stakeholder and shareholder value by developing the operating and financial plans required to achieve our company goals. You will help our business grow, help our customers succeed, and continuously improve the way we operate.

Our G&A FP&A team collaborates with senior leaders across Finance, Legal, People, and Business Operations to develop our investment strategy, understand potential outcomes, and continually iterate to ensure we're deploying resources in the most effective and efficient way. You'll play a critical role in supporting G&A functions through data-driven financial analysis, establishing scalable frameworks, and supporting forecasting and budgeting processes that ensure financial resources are allocated to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth.

What you will work on:
  • Consolidate financial results across FP&A functions, delivering month-end reporting and rolling forecast analysis to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning

  • Build and maintain robust financial models, incorporating actuals and performing variance analysis to identify, communicate, and forecast key performance drivers

  • Review and approve G&A purchase requests and procurement workflows through Coupa

  • Design, monitor, and continuously refine KPIs to track business performance, identify emerging trends, and proactively surface growth opportunities in partnership with operational leaders

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial information used for planning and reporting purposes

  • Champion data cleanliness and maintain source-of-truth reporting standards across all financial outputs, ensuring consistency and reliability

  • Design and maintain financial dashboards that provide real-time visibility into G&A spend, headcount, and key operational metrics to support leadership decision-making

What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. 

  • Have 3+ years of Financial Planning or Business Analyst experience

  • Proven experience in Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or finance within a high-growth or SaaS-driven environment, with a strong track record in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. Curious and passionate about having an impact on the business. 

  • Excellent communication, leadership and inter-personal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Strong proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Google docs, Pigment or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The expected salary range* for this role is $79,100 to $93,000 to $106,900 CAD. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.


*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
