Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Details:

Actively participates in the accurate planning, reporting and analysis functions for IT Project budgets and financials. This position will also be utilized to adequately fulfill ad hoc requests from various internal and external sources to support decision-making. This includes providing direct input and support to project managers, directors and department heads. Help drive business success by modeling financial and business impact of digital products.


? Prepare month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports, monthly project financial close and management meeting presentation, analysis of labor hours, submission of accruals/corrections, monthly variance analysis of actuals vs. forecasts. Working withfinancial system team to mitigate/resolve forecasting and planning concerns.

? Maintaining project accounting on vendor contracts and invoices

? Maintaining project staff plan/resource plans

? Assist in preparation of various reports, data requests and answers ad-hoc requests. Routinely communicate actual performance compared to budget/plan/goals.

? Function as a member of IT Project Management Team with responsibilities for ensuring a financial perspective is brought to daily operations, proper classification (O&M vs Capital) and treatment is followed, compliance with all managerial policies and assists with development of project estimates.

? Liaison to business units to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of information exchange.

? Participates in the annual budgeting process, assist in updating long-range and budget planning models. Work with Accounting and Finance departments to prepare charge codes for new projects.

? Constructing and maintaining project forecasts (cash flows) and project financial approval presentations.


?4-yeardegree in financial related field 

?2years relevant experience managing financials for Information Technology (IT) projects

? Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

? Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

? Knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, financial metrics, and financial statement relationships

?Experience in capital planning, budget justification and management
