Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Presents recommendations to senior management for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. Evaluates budget performance, expenditures, and operational effectiveness. Responsible for conducting and documenting complex financial analysis projects. May provide functional guidance or training to less-experienced financial analysts.
This position will support the IT organization’s opex and capex budgets. Core responsibilities include consolidation of forecasts, month-end reporting and packaging, data aggregation, purchase requisition reviews, and other ad-hoc reporting. The individual will help manage comprehensive and fast-paced opex and capex forecasts and actively pursue and assist in opportunities to reduce spend. Furthermore, this professional should be comfortable with raw data modeling but can also roll up and craft a financial package for an executive audience. Preferred ability to objectively look at operations and deliverables and help act as a departmental change-agent to improve cost, quality, and speed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years corporate financial analysis and/or business case development experience

Preferred Qualifications
Superior financial analytical (Excel) skills (5+yrs of exp)
Advanced presentation (PowerPoint) skills (3+ yrs of exp)
Familiarity with PeopleSoft
Essbase a plus
Alteryx a plus
Strong verbal and written communication and influence skills
