Join our New York Trading Product Control team and help us support our businesses which form part of Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets Division to be located in New York, NY. These include Credit Markets, Cash Equities and Futures teams.
As a Manager within the team, you'll take on an exciting, business facing role. You will use your expertise in analyzing and interpreting the businesses key balance sheet and profit and loss items, while developing, implementing and presenting comprehensive business reporting deliverable's to your key stakeholders.
You'll also be involved in new business product approvals, including providing financial reporting support for all new products as well as your contributing to the month end general ledger close and associated reporting and commentary, which will be an important part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Lastly, you will be reviewing monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet items, ensuring all balances are appropriately supported and continuously challenging and improving processes to ensure finance service is delivered in an effective manner.
To be successful in this role you will need to hold a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and/or finance and preferably a postgraduate / professional accounting qualification, preferably as a Certified Public Accountant. You must bring a minimum of six years' experience preferably related to accounting, audit, finance or finance experience in the banking industry.
In addition, you'll be an open communicator who is keen to share and receive knowledge as well as be energized by the opportunity to build relationships across the business and globe whilst building collaboration. You will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize, focus on qualitative improvements, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and escalate when required.
