We are seeking a Finance & EVM Analyst (Specialist, Business Operations) for our Orlando, FL office.
The Specialist, Business Operations will provide cost and schedule analysis for direct contracts including budgeting, estimates at completion, forecasting, earned value and applicable analysis and reporting. Prepare and present recommendations to management based on financial planning data. Act as primary department resource between accounting, business planning, program management, and operational management on financial and performance issues.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
50% - Perform budgeting, forecasting, EAC estimates using an earned value management system (EVMS) and maintenance utilizing computers/systems as required to perform assignments and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
20% - Review and analyze status/progress and prepare variance analysis reports apprising management of trends and anomalies which effect performance. Prepare customer and internal reports as required.
10% - Evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various forms and formats using proper accounting principles, practices and procedures.
10% - Utilize organizational skills to effectively coordinate schedules and work flow utilizing the knowledge of operations (manufacturing, engineering, test, etc.) as required to accomplish assigned activities and an understanding of business management systems.
10% - Using knowledge of governmental accounting methods, procedures and regulations, determine solutions to objectives demonstrating a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline such as Business or Accounting and ten (10) years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Desirable Qualifications: Proficient in Deltek Cobra. Proficient knowledge and understanding of EIA748 32-Guidelines and/or PARCA/DCMA EVMS Interpretation Guide and general EVM principles with working experience on a DFARS 252.237-7002 EVMS-required program/contract. Working experiencesupporting EV Control Account Manager (CAM) roles and responsibilities; Material/Subcontract Earned Value Management preferred. Experience to include performance in business operations including experience with cost accounting standards, performance measurement systems and command media. Have a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting requirements.
