CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our team!!!

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for managing, and moving forward a new part of the business organization and product commercialization. You will be responsible for strategic planning, financial modeling, and product development support. This includes planning & forecasting, supporting strategic initiatives, and overall ownership of financial modeling for product development, market analyses, pricing and commercialization.

To be successful, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and build relationships enterprise-wide!

Primary Functions:

• Manage and strategically position the Business leadership reporting and management process with Segment and Enterprise processes

• Partner closely with the business to ensure financial outlook is aligned with operations and strategic direction of the business.

• Develop close working relationships with Finance teams across the enterprise to cultivate collaboration and accountability

• Proven experience in leading all finance for new markets, products and commercialization including multi-year forecasts, quarterly and annual plans, and monthly results reporting

• Build financial models, investment analyses and business cases to guide the business and senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years financial planning and analysis, investment banking or financial consulting experience; OR Master’s degree and minimum 7+ years financial planning and analysis, investment banking or financial consulting experience

• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of P&L management

• Medical Device, Healthcare, managed care industries

• Digital or technology-centric products experience

• Advanced degree in Business and/or FSA/CPA

• Product Finance, Investment banking or consulting experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree

About CVS Health

CVS Caremark is the prescription benefit management subsidiary of CVS Health, headquartered in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Caremark was founded in 1993 in Birmingham, Alabama as MedPartners, Inc. by HealthSouth Corporation and several members of the HealthSouth executive team as a physician practice management company. New Enterprise Associates was also an early investor. After going public in February 21 of 1995, MedPartners quickly became the largest PPM company through many acquisitions. By 1998 MedPartner's had revenues of $7 billion. Caremark International was founded as a unit of Baxter International and was spun off from Baxter in 1992 as a publicly traded company. On May 15, 1996, Caremark International announced it would be acquired by MedPartners with MedPartners ending up with Caremark's pharmaceutical products manufacturing division and prescription benefit management division. In October 1997, PhyCor, announced they would be acquiring MedPartners for $8 billion in stock and assumed debt. However, the merger agreement was terminated in January 1998. The companies cited significant operational and strategic differences as the reason for the termination of the merger. MedPartners then announced that they would suffer a net loss of $841 million for the 4th quarter of 1997. In January 1998, Chairman, President and CEO Larry House left the company and Richard Scrushy took over as chairman and acting CEO of the company. On March 18, 1998, Edwin "Mac" Crawford became the new president and CEO of MedPartners. After taking over, Crawford announced that MedPartners was exiting its PPM business and refocusing on its PBM business. In 2000, MedPartners changed its name to Caremark Rx.
