Finance Director for the global $750M Industrial Division of a multi-billion-dollar Technology Designer and Manufacturer. Reporting to a Finance Executive within the parent company, your primary customer and partner is the Industrial Division General Manager in a highly matrixed organization. This is a broad leadership role managing the financials for the division, including accounting, FP&A, business planning, and new program development.



  • Quickly incorporate and add to the unique cadence of this highly matrixed organization, managing multiple priorities for cross functional stakeholders in the industrial division and corporate parent
  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of the annual planning and continuous forecasting process
  • Involvement in specific aspects of period end closing activities
  • Work closely with the Operations team to analyze and drive cost and margin improvements
  • Work closely with the business leaders, commercial finance, customer service, shared services, and accounting teams to provide end-to-end support to the business.
  • Drive pace of P&L review, product and customer margin analytics, and cost center reporting
  • Manage team of 15+ finance professionals in global locations


  • Have at least 10 years of experience in finance / accounting in a global manufacturing setting
  • Highly skilled collaborator, influencer, and frequent communicator with multiple partners and stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
  • Successful experience working with operations to improve performance, margins, costs
  • Independent financial lead, strong accounting and financial know-how
  • Business acumen – understand Sensata’s markets, customers, operations
  • Technical acumen – understand the financial and other reporting systems including data sources and reporting limitations
  • Global view – able to manage remote teams; sensitive to cultural differences
  • Results-oriented – able to guide BU partner to the actions required to achieve desired financial outcome
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
