The Business Partner is responsible for all areas in relation to annual budgeting process, weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting, monthly analysis of actual results, work with OTI to drive revenue recognition, assist in the creation of monthly commercial review presentation, monthly DMP, business partnering for all areas of the business, assist in creation of MSRP and GSA pricing, creation and hosting of the weekly revenue and orders forecast meetings, create accurate backlog reporting process, weekly metrics, supervision and development of staff and supporting the Americas Leadership Team.

This following positions will report to the Business Partner: Sr. Financial Analyst, Revenue and Orders Analyst and Service and R&D Business Partner.

Duties and Responsibilites

  • Ensure accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Work with the business to create an accurate weekly revenue and orders forecasting process
  • Host weekly meeting with the Americas Leadership Team and the business to review the weekly forecast for revenue and orders
  • Assist in completion of the annual strategic plan
  • Create an accurate process to track and present backlog
  • Create and Implement weekly financials forecasting (revenue to trading profit)
  • Accurate, timely and well planned annual budget process
  • Monthly analysis of financial results
  • Creation of monthly DMP
  • Assist in the creation of the monthly commercial review package
  • Effective business partnering for all areas
  • Create and roll out all forecasting and budgeting processes and procedures
  • Reporting and understanding of variances
  • Supports annual internal audits and year-end financialaudits
  • Support Americas Leadership Team
  • Provide all supervisory support to staff including task management, coaching, communicating job expectations; setting objectives, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
  • Design reporting from SAP and PM to create fact based reporting and to drive efficiency in reporting and analysis
  • Create weekly metrics report and distribute weekly
  • Design reporting and accountability tools to ensure timely invoicing
  • Support the sales commission plan designs, evaluation, management, enforcement, and calculation
  • Support the sales team with information and analysis to drive MSRP pricing
  • Assist in setting GSA pricing through analysis
  • Other ad hoc inquiries and requested

Required Skills and Experience

Education /Experience:

  • BachelorDegreerequired
  • Five or more years of related experience
  • Previous related management experience
  • CPA or equivalent desired

 

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Results Oriented

  • High level of focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and accustomed to meeting deadlines
  • Organized and forward thinking
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • MS Office and advanced Excel skills
  • Previous ERP experience is an asset

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Provide all supervisory support to staff including task management, coaching, communicating job expectations; setting objectives, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
