Finance Business Partner / FP&A Manager in Boston, MA

Company: Our client is a rapidly-growing, innovative, global manufacturing company looking for a high-potential Finance Business Partner to join the leadership team. The Finance Business Partner is in a visible role working with the functional and business leadership throughout the organization. The company is entrepreneurial and disruptive in its space. The company has a high-quality, experienced, innovative management team, which has led the company through rapid growth. The position is located in the suburbs of Boston.

Position: This Finance Business Partner will be designated as a high-potential performer and will manage all Financial Planning & Analysis activities across the company. This person will play a key role in ensuring the best financial decisions are made by partnering with commercial and operational teams. This person will manage the planning process, analyze data, and develop strategy for the company’s financial planning and analysis function. He/she will serve as a key player in strategic and annual / long range planning processes as well as serve as the go-to person regarding financial systems. This is a highly visible role for a nimble, hands-on financial professional.

Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be comfortable with complex financial modeling as well as financial & ERP systems.
• A hands-on, take-charge financial professional with strong financial and analytical skills. Detail-oriented and able to work within a matrix management structure.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Strong business and common sense.
• Career-motivated, dedicated, committed leader. Must be willing to travel.
