The Facebook Employment Brand Team produces creative content and campaigns across many platforms to communicate authentically about Facebook and the people who work here. We reinforce brand values and evolve the Facebook voice through video and visual storytelling. The Film Producer should have experience planning, shooting, editing and color grading live action video and animation projects. Flexibility and speed is key. Things move fast here.  The right candidate is a conceptual thinker who can bring ideas to life in new and inspiring ways. This individual can tell compelling and emotive stories through moving images. He/she has a strong point of view, it shows in his/her work. When this individual decides to craft something, they efficiently manage their vision from concept to launch, while working from a collaborative mindset. The Film Producer should be prepared to dive head first into a vast array of projects. This person will have autonomy to work independently and collaboratively with brand managers, designers and cross functional stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  1. Shoot independently on original concepts

  2. Grow team knowledge of best-in-practice video trends

  3. Collaborate and partner with brand managers, recruiters, and designers

  4. Give and solicit feedback from others

  5. Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment

  6. Develop, script, produce, and edit sharable motion picture content.

  7. Create pitches and concepts for upcoming projects

  8. Technical storytelling, visualize data and abstract ideas

  9. Work cross-functionally across multiple departments

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of video production experience

  2. 3+ years of creative agency or video production/post team experience

  3. 2+ years creating video for brand and product

  4. Video portfolio link

  5. Experience coaching business clients to create video solutions

  6. Experience in Premiere, After Effects, Resolve, Media Encoding Software, Illustrator, Photoshop

  7. Experience and knowledge in video marketing mediums: Social, web, experiential and broadcast

  8. Experience working with non-actor talent for authentic performance

  9. Ability to manage multiple projects

  10. Experience in storytelling and visual choices

  11. Ability to create and manage budgets
