Manage all aspects of field service support and customer relationship management, including installation, repairs, preventative maintenance, and instrument qualifications for materials and metals analysis test instruments and ancillary equipment.
*** Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, qualification, and validation of benchtop furnaces, elemental analyzers, gas analyzers, dynamic and thermal mechanical analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, dilatometry, laser flash analysis, rheology and infrared spectroscopy.
*** Inspect malfunctioning product to determine nature and scope of problem, and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
*** Analyze reports of technical problems to recommend modifications to eliminate future problems.
*** Develop and conduct training on safe operation of equipment, and demonstrate skills to team members and customers.
*** Provide a communication link between customers and the company.
*** Utilize customer management software to track service calls and manage parts inventories.
